Strangest babies ever born!

Recently we've read reports about the birth of a goat-like baby as well as the birth of a horse-like baby, really strange and as a result i did a little research on this and found some strange babies (no offence meant) who are believed to have medical conditions. Stories and pictures when you continue..

FROG BABY
In 2006 this baby was born in Charikot, the headquarters of Dolakha district Nepal .The neck-less baby with its head almost totally sunk into the upper part of the body and with extraordinarily large eyeballs literally popping out of the eye-sockets, was born to Nir Bahadur Karki and Suntali Karki.

The baby is said to suffer from a cephalic disorder called Anencephaly that results from a neural tube defect that occurs when the cephalic (head) end of the neural tube fails to close. (i have no idea what any of this means)

TWO-FACED BABY

She was born with two noses, two pairs of lips and two pairs of eyes but only two ears.
She has Diprosopus or Craniofacial Duplication - an extremely rare congenital disorder where part or all of the face is duplicated on the head.
Doctors who delivered the baby said she appeared to be in good health, and is leading a normal life with no breathing difficulties. They were initially uncertain whether the baby would have normal functions but say so far she is “doing well” and eating from both of her two mouths. She also opens and shuts all four eyes at the same time.

ONE EYED BABY
They say this baby was born in Nigeria, that means i'm stale because i didn't hear about it. The child is said to suffer from Cyclopia – a rare birth defect characterized by failure of embryonic forebrain to divide into two orbital cavities for the eyeballs resulting in one eye. Typically the face lacks a functional nose. The condition is said to have causes related to certain toxins and high doses of anticancer therapy.

BABY WITH MULTIPLE LIMBS

Lakshmi was a child born in India, she is accepted as Hindu Goddess in India having multiple limbs a defect medically referred to as polymelia

BABY WITH TWO HEADS
Pictured above is a nurse who holds an Egyptian baby named Manar Maged in a hospital in the city of Banha, north of Cairo. Maged was in a serious but improving condition after the procedure to treat her for craniopagus parasiticus — a problem related to that of conjoined twins linked at the skull.

BABY WITH TIGER STRIPES

This baby had red stripes all over his body exactly like a tiger and had blood red eyes similar to aliens from a sci-fi ALIEN based movie. According to the doctor, there are only 10 percent chances that the baby would survive as the skin disease he is diagnosed with (Harlequin-type ichthyosis) makes him more sensitive towards bacteria to enter his body.

BABY WITH HEART OUTSIDE BODY

its so amazing..you read this stories and realise you have so so so much to be thankful for

  4. You have to look at the sadness and tragedy of anothers life to be grateful for what you have? This is saddening and offensive. Perhaps you should do your research before you go posting things like this instead of just googling pictures. You're rude.

    1. I'm just looking at these babies so I can feel better about my own. My baby sucks and she's doesn't even have a deformity. (I guess ugliness is in the eye of the beholder.) I tell her brothers and sisters her nickname with be Miss'd Abortion.

  5. I agree with u that was VERY offensive...its good to be grateful, but the way u said it was very rude.. if the parents and children are happy the way God made them then i have nothing to be sad about!

  6. I am totally offended by this and your description of the "frog baby" in particular. Who do you think you are? I am a mother, carrying a baby with anencephaly right now. In googling my baby's condition (to try and come to terms with it) I have come across your horrible, heartless blog. If you have a heart, can you image the pain you have caused me with your nasty heartless words, attached to images of precious children, unfortunately born with tragic medical conditions? These children have parents who love and grieve for their babies with dignity. I would ask you to take down this post, out of respect for their parents.

  9. There was nothing rude in what this blogger wrote. She wrote as a strictly descriptive report of the phenomena of very rare genetic defects. She didn't create the term Frog Baby; that was the name given to it in Nepal. That particularly baby has no higher brain functions because it doesn't have a human brain, just our ancient, reptilian limbic system. Most of these horrible defects aren't survivable, and most are actually aborted (spontaneous abortion, it's called; non-medical people call it a miscarriage). Without a brain, it's very hard to survive and tell your story.

Thanks for putting some names and identifications to these fetuses/infants/children. It makes it more personal and brings the tragedy home to those of us who don't/didn't know them.
