Court orders Dr Soleye to pay N45 million to ex-wife as divorce settlement

 

 Former beauty queen, Nike Oshinowo's estranged husband, Dr Tunde Soleye has been asked by a Lagos High Court to give his ex-wife Dr Mrs Funmilayo Soleye  100, 000 pounds and N20million as divorce settlement, and also relinquish their London home to her.


Funmi was first married to Dr soleye for 28 years and has four kids with him before he got married to Nike. The judge also ordered Nike Oshinowo (who is also now separated form Dr Soleye) to pay the sum of N5million as compensation to Funmi for wrecking Funmi's marriage to Dr Soleye.

             ......I like this Judge o,now Nigerian men will think long and hard before leaving their marriages.

Fire kills 245 people in nite club

Over 245 persons where killed yesterday at a nite club in Brazil and over 200 left injured when fire broke out in a nite club called kiss club while a band was performing. The fire was said to have started around 2.am, the security guard  Rodrigo Mourey who managed to lead  some others to safety said that the club was filled to its maximum capacity with between 1000 to 2000 people in attendance.

Nike Oshinowo's marriage to Dr Soleye crashes

Former beauty queen Nike Oshinowo who has been married to Dr Tunde Soleye owner of Duro Soleye hospital for 6years has moved out of their matrimonial home as their ones blissful marriage has come to an abrupt end.

Dr Soleye had this to say  “We are no longer living together. Nike and I have sent out a joint statement on the issue. It is simple and clean. This is not a scandal. We had three options, the best of which is to tell the world the truth that we now live apart. We have been living apart for a couple of months now. We see occasionally. She calls me when she wants  and I speak with her too. There's no fight. I have been to where she lives. We are still friends. We are going through a difficult time and we will come out of it.

However,Friends of the couples have already taking sides as Nike's friends are blaming the breakdown of the once blissful marriage on the randiness of Dr Soleye while Dr Soleye's friends are blaming it on the extravagant lifestyle of Nike.
