Has Genesis 3:16 affected women like Mrs. K-solo, Rihanna etc?

I was having a discussion with my coleagues and somehow it developed into why women end up tending to man's needs and desires regardless of how they feel or how they are treated. This discussion was probably stimulated by the 'K-solo's' coming out to tell us all that the whole wife beating scandal was an act.

I really wonder about Kikelomo his wife; is she stupid or is she just fulfilling prophecy? Was it God's  curse that led to women consistently standing by their men despite the many wrongs committed against them? Is that curse the reason why men can cheat, beat their wives, emotionally blackmail them, marry multiple women, and still be loved, cared for and supported by their women?

After the 'Apple' was eaten and the Lord came down, he cursed Adam, Eve and the serpent. It is the curse that was laid on Eve that we speak of..

The King Jame's version of Genesis 3:16 reads:
Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.

The NLT version says:
Then he said to the woman, "i will sharpen the pain of your pregnancy, and in pain you will give birth. And you will desire to control your husband, but he will rule over you."

Are women all over the world fulfilling prophecy as much as celebrities like Rihanna, Whitney Houston, and to a very small degree Mrs Ksolo? Or how else can it be explained that a woman who was so badly beaten can come out and say it was an act, despite witnesses?

Are we powerless against men? Is it really a man's world?
Ladies, men..lets hear you
