DEVOTIONAL- 9th, August, 2012.

TEXT: John 16:23-24(NLT) "At that time you won’t need to ask me for anything. I tell you the truth, you will ask the Father directly, and he will grant your request because you use my name.
24 You haven’t done this before. Ask, using my name, and you will receive, and you will have abundant joy"



In law, if a person(Agent) was acting on behalf of another(Principal), he can only lawfully act if he has in his possession a Power of Attorney signed by the principal giving him the authority to act on behalf of the principal.

In the same way, the name of Jesus is the Power of Attorney given to all believers, once we accept Jesus as our Lord and Saviour, so that whatsoever we say, do or ask as result of. that Power of Attorney MUST come to pass, and we shall receive.

So use the authority of Jesus' name and put that power to work to overcome evil and bring the blessings of God to this Country Nigeria, and the World at large.

PRAYER: God, I pray to You boldly in the name of Jesus, knowing that You are listening and ready to answer. Thank You for the wonderful privilege of praying in Your Son's name.
