Saying till Death - Episode 5

I will not lay any claims to knowing what Nonso said to my friend, till this day i don't know what it was. However i know that it took him barely 15 minutes to get her groping his tongue in a kiss that i could have sworn was strangling one or even both of them.

I have to say right now that i find it really annoying when girls suddenly act like nothing happened after practically talking your head off with all our "i'm fed up" "its over oh!" "i'll show him" and what have we. Well who am i kidding? We all do it..yes be shaking you head forming you're not like that, if i catch you ehn!!

Needless to say that was the end of the wedding day drama and they were out of my house in the next thirty minutes. After that day i didn't get to hear about any problems in her marriage from Susan.  Infact she was glowing and telling all those stories that make you just long to find you own missing rib. Everytime i went out with them i felt such a deep longing to find that kind of happiness, that true "M and B" kinda love that they had, and it was the same each time i visited them.

It was for these reasons that i was really bothered as to what could have troubled Susan so much that she was calling me to say that they were getting a divorce after six months of supposedly wedded bliss. I could barely sleep that night, i literally had to keep holding myself back from picking up my phone, calling her and asking her what was wrong.

I got to work rather early the next day 6:45am, yes 'amebo' is a strong form of motivation. In my case though it wasn't just 'amebo' i was being a supportive friend, well i like to think that i am (apply within). I was shocked to see Susan's name on the attendance before mine, she must really have been troubled.

Her eyes were swollen, i could tell that she had stayed up all night or at least most of the night crying. The moment she realised that i had stepped into our shared office she spoke. "i'm pregnant". 

"awww, congrats dear, quickly snap out of whatever this is and start preparing to be a mother, so happy for you" i was moving in to hug her when she said " i have HIV , he gave me HIV, My child may have HIV..i don't want to bring a child into this world in sickness and neither do i want to stay with a man who married me knowing he had HIV without saying one word about it'.

He beats me, cheats on me, he's perpetually rude to me and his family doesn't help matters. Now he has given me HIV, who knows what else he has? I want a divorce, i need you to be a true friend and help me.
