Fire in Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (details)

Last night we got reports that the lagos state university teaching hospital was on fire and there were a lot of different speculations as to what caused it, now here are the full details of what actually happened.

The out-patient clinic for hiv/aids patients,Apin clinic at the lagos teaching hospital was on fire as a result of an electrical wiring problem. The fire is said to have  started at about 6.40pm but the lagos state fire service failed to arrive untill about an hour later, however, other agencies like NEMA arrived at the scene and put out the fire.
Thankfully,no casualities were recorded except for a fire service worker who sustained some injuries.
