Uk Police Suspects Nigerian Girl of Disfiguring Herself With Acid

A 20 year old Nigerian girl Naomi Oni who is based in the Uk was on December 30th 2012 attacked with acid on her way  back from work. Naomi in her account of what happened, said she was on her way back from work on that fateful day,talking to her boyfriend on the phone as she walked when she noticed a woman wearing a niquab walking suspiciously behind her, when suddenly the woman walked right in front of her an pour a liquid content on her face which turned out to be acid.

The Uk [police have since been investigating the case and here is what they are now suggesting:

Police are believed to have seized a computer belonging to a young woman who was badly scarred in an acid attack amid suspicions that she may have caused the injuries herself. But her family fear that detectives are not doing enough to catch the perpetrator of the attack and are focusing on a 'crazy' line of inquiry.

Naomi Oni, 20, was left with horrific injuries following the incident which happened as she left work at the end of last year and was in hospital for nearly a month receiving treatment.

Police are understood to have taken Miss Oni's laptop and are said to have discovered that she had searched the internet for websites about acid attacks before she received her injuries.

Searches are said to include material on Katie Piper, the former model who has campaigned for facial disfigurement victims since she was scarred in an acid attack in 2008, according to the Sunday Times.

Officers are said to have asked Miss Oni's relatives whether she may have inflicted the injuries on herself but her boyfriend Ato Owede, 23, has dismissed that line of inquiry as 'crazy'.

STRANGE: 61 year old woman marries 8 year old boy

the picture above  was taken over the weekend in one of the world's most bizarre wedding, when a 61-year-old woman married an 8-year-old boy...and the weeding had close to 100 guest in attendance.

Goldie Died Of a Hypentensive Heart

Finally the long awaited autopsy conducted at the Lagos State  University Teaching Hospital has revealed that  Oluwabimpe Susan Harvey aka “Goldie” died of terminal ‘hypertensive heart disease’.
The autopsy which was carried out February 19 and  signed by Dr. O.O Oyewole of the Department of Pathology and Forensic Medicine shows that she suffered a terminal ‘hypertensive heart disease’ which resulted to’ intracerebellar hemorrhage.’

I Died For Seven Days, Friends Sold My Properties but God Woke - Patience Jonathan

At  a special service held at the Aso Rock chapel yesterday,the First Lady Mrs Jonathan talked about her admission into a German hospital for the treatment of the ailment she suffered and how she  underwent multiple surgical operations and that at some point her doctors lost all hope. This is the first time the Presidency will admit that the speculations of 2012 as regarding the state of health of the first lady was indeed true.


“It was not an easy experience for me,” Mrs. Jonathan told the congregation which included senior government officials. “I actually died. I passed out for more than a week. My intestine and tummy were opened.” said the First lady.

“I am not Lazarus but my experience was similar to his. My doctors said all hope was lost. It was God himself in His infinite mercy that said I will return to Nigeria. God woke me up after seven days,”

  “It is the Lord’s doing that I returned alive,” she said. “When God says yes, nobody can say no. People are always afraid of operation (surgery). But in my own case, while my travail lasted, I was begging for it after the third operation because I was going to the theatre every day. It was God who saw me through. I did eight or nine operations within one month.”

She also said that while she lay dying in Germany, friends and associates who hoped she will not be making it back to Nigeria with life, scrambled for her properties, selling those they could.

 “I know that some people some how leaked the information that I was dead. They are people that I trust and rely on. To them, I was dead and I would never return to the country alive,” she said. “Some of them even sold my things off. “I won’t say everything here.”

“It was not an easy one. The day I came back, I said God I have nothing to say, I offer myself to you. I will be doing things that will touch the lives of the less privilege. God gave me a second chance because I reached there. He knew I had not completed the assignments He gave me that was why I was sent back,” narrated the fist lady.
 The first Lady also said that she has now dedicated her life to serving the needy.

When i heard about the death of singer Goldie lastnight (real name Susan Oluwabimpe Harvey )i was in shock because she just released a new song,was about to start up a reality show with her best friend Denrele and was so full of life but since  all efforts to find out the cause of death prooved futile,i decided to wait untill i got detailed report as to how she died. (she deserves that much)

Goldie who few days ago went with her record label boss Kenny Ogungbe to America to cover the grammy awards,arrived back in Nigeria just yesterday and according to her best friend Denrele was so full of life until something went terribly wrong with her,she complained of severe headache and so was rushed to Reddington hospital on the island but was later pronounced dead after  short while. Her remains have been deposited in the mogue at the Ikeja general hospital. Aside from her record label management,celebrity friends of hers like Karen,Uti and Yvonne Ekwere were present.

She went on to say; I have just been informed that my second son, Obinna Okereke Awa is dead. He was lured and killed and buried, exactly two weeks today by his course mates and room mates, flanking him here, Edwin Ogbonna and Ikechukwu Uka. All fourth year Law students of Abia State University.
They feigned ignorance of his whereabouts until yesterday.
